Desirable Qualifications
- Working knowledge of feature film and/or commercial production.
- Basic knowledge of the visual effects process/industry.
- Students interested in 2D, 3D, Character, or TD internships should have knowledge and experience
with the relevant software applications used at Digital Domain (Nuke, Mental Ray, Maya, RenderMan, Photoshop, etc.)
Eligibility Requirements
- Interns must be current students or recent graduates from a related VFX/Animation, Computer Science, or Arts programs.
- Interns must obtain a letter from their school stating that they are eligible to earn credit for their internship, and stating the number of
units that will be earned. This letter will be provided to Human Resources upon acceptance.
- Interns must be at least 18 years of age.
- Interns may not work or participate in an internship program at a competing facility during the term of their internship with Digital Domain.
- Interns may not be supervised by a relative or intern in the same department as a family member.
- Interns must be available a minimum of 2 days per week. Hours are limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week during the school period
(or 40 hours per week during the summer). The length of the internship should not exceed 6 months (without prior approval).
- Out of town interns must submit written confirmation that they have secured their own housing. Digital Domain is not responsible
for arranging or paying for living arrangements or travel.
